In the SMT production process, because most of the components on each product are different, it is not possible to produce all products according to a reflow temperature curve. It is difficult to master the reflow oven temperature setting is high temperature reflow soldering. The high temperature reflow temperature setting is determined by the alloy melting point of the solder paste and the thermal conductivity of the component.
The reflow temperature setting is divided into four temperature zones, heating zone, preheating zone, reflow zone, cooling zone, and different temperature zone setting standards are different.
Temperature setting in the reflow heating zone: The heating rate should be set at 2 to 4 ° C / sec. The heating rate in the preheating zone is too fast, which easily degrades the solder paste's fluidity and composition, and easily causes popping and soldering .
Temperature setting in the preheating zone of the reflow soldering machine : The temperature is 130 to 190 ° C, and the time is suitable from 80 to 120 seconds. If the temperature is too low, the solder will not melt after reflow soldering.
Reflow soldering zone temperature setting: The temperature of the reflow soldering zone is the peak temperature of the reflow soldering. The peak temperature is set to 240 to 260 ° C. The melting time is recommended to adjust the time above 240 ° C to 30 to 40 seconds.
Reflow soldering cooling zone temperature setting: The reflow soldering cooling zone rate should be 4 ° C / sec.
The reflow soldering oven temperature setting varies depending on the state and structure of the reflow soldering heat sink. Do more product first tests beforehand. Only after the temperature is set properly, you can perform batch reflow soldering operations to ensure the proper temperature.
